Repair & Maintenance Overview
UTSI has several options and alternatives for repairing and
maintaining the products and services that it delivers to
its customers.
Break-Fix Services
UTSI Break-Fix Services are usually a contract agreement based
on time and materials costs. These services exist because
the customer (purchaser of the product) has no current warranty
on the product.
Maintenance Contracts
Time and Materials Hardware Maintenance Agreements
Our Time & Materials Hardware Maintenance Agreement functions
as an extended warranty offering comprehensive service for
labor and materials. Under this agreement, UTS will guarantee
equipment is operational for the terms and duration of the
contract under normal wear-and-tear conditions. Whenever necessary,
UTS will replace equipment with that of equal value.
Block of Time Contract Agreement
Our Block-of-Time contract allows customers to pre-purchase
service hours that can be applied towards your hardware or
software problems. Using a graduated scale, our customers
will realize greater savings as the number of pre-purchased
hours increases. This contract only provides for labor and
does not cover parts replacement.
Flexible Staff Augmentation
Contract Agreements
Our Flexible Staff Augmentation contracts is an alternative
to full time staffing which allows our customers to utilize
a technical contract individual while the person remains a
Ultimate employee.
Warranty Services
UTSI's warranty services would be an extension to the warranty
services that were originally established between the purchaser
(customer) and the vendor.
Most warranty services on hardware are one year (parts and
labor). Warranty services on software maintenance are usually
an ongoing support agreement between customer and vendor.
