Partnering for Success
An important business approach that UTSI has established in its Organizational Partnership Plan is the formation of strategic partnerships with other IT companies. Initially, many IT companies were identified and listed as potential partners for UTSI. But, there were seven companies that we knew, after thoroughly investigating and researching their product and service offerings, could provide significant advantages and benefits to UTSI and more importantly, to UTSI's customers.

Although we have established partnerships with other IT vendors and organizations, we view the establishment of these particular partnerships as being crucial for the success of our core product & service offerings. Some of the benefits that are gained from UTSI partnering with these seven companies are listed below:

• Provides customers with a single point of contact for both sales and product support, including operations and training
• Provides UTSI with the full authority and responsibility to design a complete IT solution
• With partnerships already in place, the project will run more smoothly
• Customers view UTSI as an ‘One-Stop Shop' IT service provider of complete, turnkey IT solutions
• Provides a mechanism for centralizing and identifying product knowledge and expertise from each service provider
• Prioritizes product integration and connectivity issues
• Complements the product and service offerings from UTSI portfolio, positioning UTSI as a solutions-oriented company
• Adds value to UTSI as an IT Service Provider

Once the partnership agreements were completed, UTSI immediately secured the necessary resources that were knowledgeable and competent on the selected vendor products & services.

In addition, UTSI also selected these partnerships because they, the IT vendors, would offer or provide its customers with options and alternatives in the design of IT solutions. As a result, the customer would not be trapped or would not be totally committed to a specific technology platform – giving our customers options for the future.

Channel Partner Program
UTSI's networking staff has earned several Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP) in networking design and support. Being designated as a Premier Channel Partner demonstrates UTSI's commitment in Cisco products. As the organization grows and becomes more resourceful, we expect this area to make tremendous gains in its knowledge base. Routing and Switching Specialization
